Bugland is a 3D platformer inspired by the 16-bit classics like Sonic and Super Mario.
Was developed in 15 days using Unity3D as a mini project to practice my technical and artistic skills, as well as project and time management.
This project’s goal was to get my feet wet in game development for mobile platforms like Android and iOS, getting in touch with the requirements and technical limitations.
By self imposing technical and time restraints, this project forced me to have clear objectives and being careful in prioritising tasks.
The game’s objective it’s to catch the biggest number of stars possible before the timer runs out, while avoiding being hit by the enemies or falling to certain death.
